So I had to find ways to put up my bounty. My most famous is my deer jerky. It took me a while to find one that I liked. I hope this will save you a few steps. You can get premixed seasonings from Cabela's or Sportsmans Guide.<br />

<strong>Venison Jerky</strong><br />

<strong>3- lbs of venison or beef (hind quarter) cut into strips 1/8- 1/4 thick</strong><br />
<br />
<strong>1/4- cup Soy Sauce</strong><br />
<br />
<strong>1/2- cup water</strong><br />
<br />
<strong>1/3- worchestershire sauce</strong><br />
<br />
<strong>2-tsp Accent</strong><br />
<br />
<strong>2-tbls spoons liquid hickory smoke</strong><br />
<br />
<strong>2/3 garlic powder</strong><br />
<br />
<strong>2/3 onion powder</strong><br />
<br />
<strong>1-tsp pepper</strong><br />
<br />
<strong>1-tbls cajun spice (optional)</strong><br />

<strong>Marinate meat in sauce for 48 hours</strong><br />
<br />
<strong>Place on tooth picks and hang in the oven from grate at 175 degrees 4-5 hours a little longer if needed. Don't over cook.</strong><br />

<strong>I lay a piece of tin foil on the bottom of the oven to catch spills..I also put a spoon in the oven door just to have it cracked open. The jerky dries better.</strong><br />
